For the past two years I've been an Adjunct Faculty member at Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown, Massachusetts. In this capacity I teach the CIT 110, CIT 101 and Mobile Application Design & Development courses.

I enjoy connecting with students from a variety of backgrounds and educational experiences. Bunker Hill community college provides a variety of different programs which can offer students an opportunity to pursue a variety of fields related to technology nursing and the arts. I enjoy being part of a program which allows students to transfer to four-year programs or to gain certificates in specific fields.

I am currently working on a National Science grant which will allow Bunker Hill Community College to implement a Mobile Application Design and Development certificate in the next year. This program will allow students to pursue mobile application development for a variety of platforms.

In House Professional Day: Screen-Casting For The Classroom

As the Computer Education teacher at Winchester High School I taught the Web Design 1 & 2, Computer Animation 1 & 2, Sports Marketing and Mobile Application Development courses. Over the course of 5 years I redeveloped the web design curriculum to include more CSS based design strategies and an awareness for the changing resolution of screen sizes and the integration of a wide range of mobile devices. In my time there we updated the animation lab and also developed an integrated approach of aligning the McCall Middle school Computer Education curriculum with the courses at the high school.

My biggest contribution to this program was the development of one of the first Mobile Application Design courses in the country for high school students. This curriculum adopted a design, develop and test  philosophy using a variety of platforms including Flash,Phonegap,Java for Android. The work in this course was chronicled in two major articles(listed below).

As a member of the school community I participated in a variety of educational, athletic and extracurricular activities.
